93 ECM Delete
I have a 93 F-350 with the 7.5l. I know many people will not like to hear this, but I am doing a carb and HEI swap. I’m also going to use a stand-alone controller for the E4OD. Basically I’d like to know what all the ECM actually controls on my truck. Does the computer control any of the gauges? Can I completely remove the computer without having problems with any other parts of the truck? Thanks for all the knowledge that you guys have.

The factory ECM controls nothing but the engine and trans, it also turns on the fuel pumps but you can't use those with a carbed motor anyway.

That’s exactly what I wanted to know. When it comes down to it I’ll just completely remove all of the ECM. I have plans for the fuel delivery as well. Thanks man.
