Can bad GEM produce DTC B codes

Just finished my 5th tune at 280k and was using FOREScan Lite to check everything. I have some new trouble codes that popped up. B1318 Battery voltage below 9.6, B1371 courtesy light,B1869 air bags,B1982 Pats think that is a anti theft that is not an option on my vehicle. I am not sure when these codes started could have been after the tune but not sure. I would appreciate any input on this. We have a half decent day in CO today so I am going to do some inspections and get the part # on the GEM.

Did you try clearing them all and seeing if any come back? Low voltage could have generated those other errors.

If the functions work, don't worry about the codes. May just be a compatibility issue.

I did clear the codes and they did come back. Everything seems to be functioning ok. I do have some concerns with my voltage. I had a new battery fail and replaced it, the Forescan showed a low voltage code about a month ago so I installed a new alternator as the original was 20 years old. The 3 month old battery seems to lose about .5 volts in a day. This would be the second duralast gold to go bad in 8 months. Possible the alternator going bad whacked the batteries? Or I have heard tell of the GEM causing battery drain. I am going to disconnect the battery and fully charge it to check for drain. Guessing if it is a good battery there should be very little loss of voltage??? Thanks for the feed back. You guys are the best

Update! I am new to the FOREScan application. I was not clearing the individual codes. I did that and they have not returned. I think codes were due to a low battery condition as my truck was parked for several days. I am still going to check the battery for voltage loss. thanks again.
