That is a direct replacement into any Y Block requiring the 57 and later manifold vacuum signal.
It will fit directly into some 239's depending upon the foundry. Others, especially car blocks, will require a 14 tooth gear as well as the proper oil pump.
My old 55 F350 239 EBY block casting was a drop in swap.

Another update…
I’m sorry it took me so long to post something here about the electronic ignition. A series of problems happened all at once, and I had no time to mess with these things…
The distributor is already done and installed. I took pictures of every step of the procedure. I’m almost done with the written part. I just hope there aren’t many grammar errors, since my English is not that great… Maybe someone would like to volunteer to read it over and check for those errors?
I’ll get it finished as soon as possible.
