That is a direct replacement into any Y Block requiring the 57 and later manifold vacuum signal.
It will fit directly into some 239's depending upon the foundry. Others, especially car blocks, will require a 14 tooth gear as well as the proper oil pump.
My old 55 F350 239 EBY block casting was a drop in swap.

How do I ? " 57 and later manifold vacuum signal. " ? I have a stock 54 with the correct engine how do I find out if this swap will work. Where can I find this info, Books has it been posted before Search this site. I have read about the different styles of ignition advance, which one or how do I tell what I have.

Casting numbers where are they and if I post them can someone on the list
tell what I have .....

Any help would be great....

Thanks

Another update…

I’m sorry it took me so long to post something here about the electronic ignition. A series of problems happened all at once, and I had no time to mess with these things…

The distributor is already done and installed. I took pictures of every step of the procedure. I’m almost done with the written part. I just hope there aren’t many grammar errors, since my English is not that great… Maybe someone would like to volunteer to read it over and check for those errors?

I’ll get it finished as soon as possible.

Best regards,
Lucas (Lobo)
