'92 4.9L i6 mounts problem
Full rebuild and for what its worth the hangup is a friggen motor mount. So, replacement motor mounts (solid rubber marshmallow style) don't fit. Old ones were disintegrated and from what they look like they were hydraulic mallow style. Issue is the locating pin hole on driver side is 1/4" closer to the bracket bolt hole. But everywhere sold both mounts are exactly the same and will only fit the passenger side bracket. So, drill a new hole or cut locating pin off? Will it weaken bracket or cause mount to slide around? Shotgun funeral? Why do parts places never have whats needed but say it works? Ideas.
