Howdy,
I’d like to confirm the steps to reset the PCM on my 2019.
The reason I’d like to reset is I’m not happy with the shifting of my 2019 2.7 Eco. There is a shifting delay and then ‘lurch’ onto gear and clunk around 30 mph in rush hour traffic.
Please confirm the steps to reset the PCM on my 2019 2.7 Eco.
1) Remove negative battery cable.
2) Turn in headlights to drain the remaining power for 30 minutes.
3) Connect negative battery cable.
4) Turn ignition key to accessory for 10 minutes
5) Start truck and let idle for 5 minutes.
6) Drive truck ‘non aggressively’ to learn shifting.
None of those will do anything. Do you have access to forscan? If so it's a service function, select reset adaptive learning tables. You will also find it beneficial to force reset the TCM.

How does one force reset the TCM? I can't seem to find it on the service function list - I found TCCM though but I think that is transfer case control module. Maybe it's named something different.
Any help is appreciated - Thanks
EDIT: @ford390gashog adding this tag so maybe you'll see this. Thank you sir.

Here is the list I found in service procedures. I don't see TCM.
This should help, whenever reset for driveabilty issues I always do TCM Module reset, PCM Transmission Adaptive Tables Reset, PCM Module Reset and PCM reset all adaptations. This will get you 100% reset!
Interesting - I have all the procedures you described except the TCM. Wonder if it's the adapter I'm using. I also have a slightly older version of Forscan v2.3.20 from March '19. Tried the latest version recently and my virus protection had a field day.
