1990 e40d problem
Iast Thursday I replaced the torque converter on my '90 superduty(7.3idi) in me 3 ur old rebuilt tranny. Well the od light on the dash is stuck on. I warrantied the neutral/multi switch just incase it was bad, changed the tack sensor since it wasn't working and the od switch. But the light still stays on and it very sluggish taking off in drive.
I can manually shift the gears with no problem.
What should I try to get it get the light to work correctly?

You replaced the switch on the end of the shift lever but there are wires that run through the shift lever. I replaced the switch and the lever containing the wires, a normal replacement part or atleast it used to be, on my "94 F-150. That may fix your light problem but probably not the sluggish taking off in drive problem.
