You have to remove the division bar at the front of the main glass, or at least disconnect the bottom end of the division bar and swing it forward enough to get the glass into the channel. (or are you asking about the channel on the bottom of the glass that is used to raise/lower the glass?)
Yes I am talking about the bottom bar that you actually set the glass into. With the insert tape provided it is real tight and I don't want to break the glass pounding it into the slot.
