Ok I just go my glass in from vintage glass and im not happy with it already. One they didnt send my felf or dew wipes or rails. Ok I can deal with that Ill just call them. Well the didnt send me anything on how to install the glass like WERE TO CUT THE TO OF THE DOOR. So I call them and finaly a woman at the desk say it will be here next week or two. #$## well its already been 5 weeks just for glass. So can anyone tell me or help me out here. Send me a pic or something about how to cut the top of the door or trim it for the glass to fit. Its the 1 pc FLAT glass NOT CURVED, so dont send me somthing saying mine was cured and easy. Thanks sorry to be in bad mood
Went through the same thing with my 48 1-pc from Vintage. I did get some useless instructions with mine. Did I say they were useless? I'm going to take mine to a glass shop eventually and let them figure it out at $20+ an hour.
thats a hole other problem axracer, the guy at the show said it would fit with no problems and I did ask about the having to cut the doors and he said no. Well when it got here I could tell just looking at the glass it was FLAT . I also asked the lady I called about this and she said," yea it cost more." No sh!# and thats what I wanted so its all messed up. I think Im just going to save the glass for another truck down the line and just order some curved glass from midfifty. So all I can do is . Lifes to short yo know, but if anyone ever ask me about vintage glass out of GA Im just going to tell them to look at other venders like midfifty.
