Every other day or so this winter, my 2018 Limited will start up full AC on my seat in the mornings. When it's cold weather. I almost never use the seat AC except if it's really hot. The HVAC loses other settings too, the way I turn it off is rarely the way it wakes up.
I looked for a TSB on this and found naught. Furd dealer just had my truck for a couple days and was unable to reproduce the problem.
My key settings? Mine did something similar (i bought the truck used). And i think it only did this when remote starting. I turned My key off and my problem was solved.
I use mine and it is amazing. See picture. Auto selected and the dual zone turned off. If dual zone is turned on, make sure the temp is set at the right temp. My wife always hits dual zone by accident and some how it’s always set to the coldest setting. I leave dual zone off. In the picture, my rear defrost is on cause I just started truck to take this picture.
On you instrument cluster info screen:
Settings > Advanced Settings > Vehicle > Remote Start > Climate control > select auto or last setting. (Auto has never turned my ac seats on in cold weather but my version of cold is 40f and below)
Mine has always been messed up no matter what I try. No matter the settings in the center console options the drivers seat comes on full blast even when it's in the 40s outside. Sometimes, when it's really cold it will turn on the heated seats and steering wheel heater, but usually it's the cold setting that comes on.

Another user reported this problem. This must be a module failure and the module should be replaced. I can’t remember What module it is right now. It’s been a long day. lol.
Now you say your ac seats are turning on when cold, how cold is it??? Do you use your command start???
.
Yes I almost always use the auto climate control. Only when my wife is there does she activate dual zone. I turn it off when she's not looking. I don't like it much, I call it duel zone.
One morning recently, it was 38F and the seat AC turned on. Tonight, I shut off the truck to do some tractor work. An hour later, the seat AC had turned itself on when I moved the truck.
I rarely use remote start anymore because the Edge Insight monitor isn't powered up on remote start. So I just lean in, push on the brake, and push the start button.

I've had it in to the dealer, they just tell me "it's within spec" which is Ford Dealer speak for "live with it". I just turn it off when I get in. Oddly enough the passenger seat always remembers it's setting and behaves as it should.

I know I was apart of a thread with this exact issue in the past. I searched through my post history but cannot go back far enough. Maybe it’s because I am on mobile. It only shows 34 pages of my post history. The thread I’m thinking of may have had a fix for this issue but I can’t remember. If you can check my post history, go back to last winter (ish) time and see if you can find a thread about ac seats turning on.
Nope. It had mentioned that the OPs cooled seats kept coming on even when it was cold outside. Another user jumped in and said he had the same problem and I think a module replacement was the answer. Either the OP or another user fought with the dealer to get it replaced and in turn corrected the issue.
Last year when driving around with my windows down and the HVAC off...I'd notice my HVAC would randomly turn on by itself. In the cool mornings, I would have the heat on. But in the evening, it would be warm enough out not to need it. Sometimes it would do it multiple times in one trip around town. I have the standard XLT HVAC...so the issues with it are not limited to the higher end trims.
