electrical problems

i have a 74 f100 with 351c and wooden bed. when switch is on rear light stay on,also rightside turn signals doesnt work.light comes on dash but doesnt blink,hazard works fine,when lights are on alt. light stays lit. help!!!

When your 4-ways rae on do all of the external lights flash? Sounds like you have a bulb out or maybe a flasher.

When what switch is on what light stays lit?

Need to check your charging sytem for the alt light. Does it go off if the idle is raised?

when headlights switch is on alt. light stays on,when headlight switch is off alt. light goes off.when hazards are on the lights work properly.

Since you have a wood bed it might be a ground problem with the tailights. As for the alternator it sounds like it might be weak i would have it checked.
