'74 Reverse Lights Mystery
Have 74 f100 with automatic trans. just got all of the lighting working on the rear-end except the reverse lights only blink on and then off when I shift from park to reverse. If I hold the shifter in between park and reverse they stay illuminated. Anyone know what the deal is???

Quick guess...your reverse lights run out of the neutral saftey switch & it's worn out some.
Check the drivers side of the tranny where the shifter linkage goes in. The switch will be mounted there.
