Mounting front rubber brake hoses to frame?

Hi everyone. I'm looking for ideas on how to secure the front runner brake hose to the hard line inside the frame. The speedway disc brake kit came with the below, I assume to be attached to the frame as a mounting point, but I feel like there has to be a simple way that I'm missing. I want the hose to go to the existing hole.

Any ideas or pictures you can share?

Thanks!

I would say rivet it to the frame

If the new brake hose is keyed to fit that bracket then cut the 90 degree tab off the bracket, trace the shape of the keyed piece on the frame rail over the original hole, cut out the frame and weld the bracket piece flush into the frame rail. Should look factory that way. This assumes your lines are feeding through the side of the frame rail, my F1s had tabs like the speedway pieces that I modified for jag hoses.

Brake hose bracket

I made my own out of flat stock. 1951 F1 with Jag ifs.

Worked for me.

I wouldn't worry about the key unless your hoses don't have a hex to hold while you tighten the pipe onto it. I've seen plenty of those horseshoe clips fitted to plain round profiles by manufacturers. At worst you might need a different style of hose like the one in the pic above.

I ran into the same problem. I couldn't just cut the 90 because the hoses rubbed in factory position so I just bolted and tacked the new ones father forward or change hose to shorter.

I used the stock holes. Once positioned you can tack weld a stop to keep the hose from spinning. Good luck

I decided to flatten out that bracket that came with the kit and open up the hole in the frame to 1". I think it'll get the job done. Thanks again for everyone's input!
