About a year ago my 1995 F250 7.3 stalled on me. I replaced the CPS, no luck. So I drained the fuel bowl and turned the engine over a few times and checked the bowl and no fuel was in the bowl. Did this on both tanks. Still no fuel. Replaced the fuel pump and fuel bowl filled up. Still no start. I noticed there was no RPMs while cranking. So I replace the CPS again because the one I bought was off of Amazon and I wanted to put a Ford one in. Still didn't start. Still no cranking RPMs. I knew the started was going bad so I replaced that. Still no start and no cranking RPMs. What is going on? Where do I go from here? Fuse? Relay? Bad computer? Is there a loose connection that I should specifically look for?
Also my fuel pressure regulator housing has a crack and is squirting fuel. I don't think this would mess with cranking RPMs but I know it would cause fuel pressure problems and maybe not start? Does anyone know where I can find just the housing? I can find the bowl and housing together but I don't need a bowl.
I just cracked my fpr housing today and all this has been over a year. I figure if I can get the cranking RPMs to be there then I can move forward with the fpr housing.
What I meant to say is I'm 1200 miles from where they are at. If you can wait until mid May I'll send you one. All I can say is trace the wires back, I'm sure some others will be along to help.
Ahhh, thanks man. I'm hoping other people reply because tracing it back would require opening up the protective covering of the harness exposing more wires than I want to.
Its getting rid of the mechanical fuel pump and all its leaks etc. and replacing it with an electrical fuel pump. There are several kits available out there, do a search and you will be amazed. This is one of the more popular ones: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...purchased.html

Check the wires at both ends before you open the harness. Check continuity from end to end.
The flowchart has links to show you how to do some things.
