I need help deciphering these codes that popped up. P0671, P0672, P0678. I know these are for glow plugs 1, 2, and 8 but I'm not experiencing any problems (that I know of). No CEL just the codes. Do I need to change these glowplugs or what does this mean? Thanks for the help.

I had code P0673 last year. No, I really didn't notice a problem when starting but it was not extremely cold that time of year. With that being said, I changed the whole bank of GPs on that side because they are not that expensive and if you are there doing it may as well do them all. Order a new harnesses as well because it is unlikely you will not damage them when pulling the boots off the GPs.
You can get the glow plug harnesses on eBay for pretty cheap. It's helpful to get the removal tool too. I just spray brake cleaner on each one. It dries out the seal and makes it easier to get the harness off the plugs. Also I've found its way easier to get to the passenger side plugs by removing the inner fender well.
i picked up motorcraft plugs at O'Reilly auto. They were cheap too!
On the passenger side I cut a small u out, enough to fit my arm and see. Then epoxied some small palaces on the cut out for backing. Three screws and 'all good again. A lot easier especially if you have flares. Those Fender Wells are a bit-- to get out when U have flares. If you remove the flairs that's a whole nother can of worms you're opening up.
Google search for diesel tech Ron video on 6.0 glow plugs. Has easy tests using multi meter to determine if it is the glow plug module or the glow plugs themselves.
word of advice. Only use OEM glow plugs or control module. Can find used modules on eBay for reasonable prices.
You will wreck the harness taking it off. Get one too.
