Truck went to dealer smoke no power dealer says no compression in 1 and 7 3 new injectors now I have compression in 1 7 was stuck open truck runs like **** could it be bad rings or washed out
code contribution and balance in number 7
Going to need a little more information on what truck you have. And punctuation really helps.
With that said, from what I gather you were told you had low compression on cylinders 1 and 7. You replaced 3 injectors. Which 3 did you replace? And after you had compression on 1 and 7 or just cylinder 1? Did you confirm the compression issue with an actual compression test before and after? If 7 was stuck open, yes it could have either washed out cylinder 7 or more likely melted the cylinder 7 piston.
Just replied to your private message you sent. As I stated, sounds like injector 7 failed in a way that dumped raw fuel into the cylinder. I suspects piston damage is present causing the lost compression. Quick and dirty, remove the oil fill cap. If its blowing out large puffs while running chances are there is piston or cylinder damage on cylinder 7.
