Fuel Filter

Fuel Filter

I have a 94 IDI factory turbo. I want to move the filter to the frame rail has anyone done this or have ideas ?

which Filter Oil or Fuel ?

MY Bad I should have known that by the Topic.....

anyway I don't understand why you would want to do that .... maybe better to just add a Pre-Filter on the frame rail.

the reason that I suggest to leave the OEM filter as it is ... is because of the return from the filter and IF you don't have the return then it is hard to prime IF you run her out of fuel

While there is no reason that you cannot relocate it... think about access when you have problems ... no problem to just bolt it to the rail and run the lines as needed ...
