Here's the part number from International for their Racor brand fuel filters:

Fuel filter #1847170C92, includes the frame mounted filter w/Aquabloc and the engine mounted filter

Nothing different, just a updated part number.

Usually around $35.00. Some IH dealers are a couple bucks more, some a couple less.

We posted at virtually the same time--I was hunting the part number--and I didn't even notice yours was the old number. No difference in kit or filters--just an updated number for whatever reason.

I beleive someone said before the number after the C is the engineering change level. A lot of times that can mean a change as simple as a difference in price from the part supplier.

This is correct per my local IH dealer also...when I recently bought 2 of these(34 or 35 each kit), I called first to make sure they had the in stock, and over the phone asked about p/n 1847170C92, they told me they were in stock. When I went to pick them up they had the boxes already sitting on the counter with my name, but were labled 1847170C93 - only difference is C93 at end. I asked what's up since I called asking for ....C92 ane the parts guy kinda chuckled and said he stopped listening after the "C" since the real part number is what's before that. All the C93 is to show is that there had been a price increase, but didn't even know the amount. So by next year when I call back it will most likely end in C94, according to my IH dealer, but don't know when.
Geoff.
