Bed gap

Just took delivery of my 2020 F350. It looks like there is a gap between the bed floor and the bed side up near the front corner. Has anyone else seen this? It looks like you are looking down to the ground, gap is maybe 3/16”.

Welcome to the new era of trucks. Some say poor fitment and others say they are meant for drains. Some want to caulk them and then get a spray in bed liner some say don’t do that. Usually this thread topic gets a few guys arguing. Sit back and grab the popcorn. Lol

Completely normal to have those gaps.

Thanks, I will just ignore it. Glad to know it isn't just my truck.

IMO the irony of the gaps in the bed, where the steel beds only has them at the bulk head..And now we have a corrosion resistant aluminum bed and now find gaps in not so usual places

I believe they serve as weep holes but mostly for expansion and contraction of the aluminum.
Aluminum does expanded and contract at different temps and rates from steel .

A couple tubes of black silicon to match the spray in liner does magic to fill those gaps and keep the dust out. I run a topper so the dust is an issue without doing this...

Never use silicon,, nothing will stick to it except dirt, and if you have to paint or respray a bed liner..lots of prep to removed.

Try using a polyurethane
