I put my 262 on there every few months to service it...the next time i do I'll snap a pic for you. The 4 arms are pretty low so fit under it. If you have a really low skidsteer just use the bucket to lift the front a bit, effectively lifting the entire thing a little bit. Can lift a small car, big pickup, equipment as long as its not too heavy and exceeded the weight limit. The skidsteer is under the weight limit. The arms are just not spread very well apart to fit between the tires is all. But still it lifts fine and doesn't seem unstable. A tractor with a longer wheelbase should be really solid on the lift. The only thing that I don't like lifting is older unibody cars. They ask that you lift them on the seam where the floor and rocker panels are welded together usually...and when they get some rust in them, it seems to weak, and scared they will give and fall of the lift.
I have a 4 post lift. Very easy to put vehicles on. I also have the jacks for it, so no problem changing tires or brakes. Some of my vehicles are odd so 4 post lift eliminates being unbalanced.
last year i wanted to put a 4 post lift in my garage.i found one on craigs list .it was in tampa about 35 miles away from me.i called the guy and we agreed on a price,i gave him my phone number.he gave me directions on how to get there.i told him that i would be there at 8 am,he said great.i got my buddy to go with me.i got there at 7 30 with the trailer.he was not there,so i waited until 8 30 and still no show.i called him and said that i am here at the address you gave me,now where are you.he said that i sold the lift last night.now i am mad and said why didn't you call me and tell that.all he said was oh well,it is sold and gone.then he hung up on me
2 post also works well for removing and installing cabs easily and safely. Note the truck extenders sitting near the floor.
FYI - I have a 4 post lift for vehicle storage but with only a 10 foot ceiling, I can only use it for cars as the trucks are too tall. Even 1 truck and a car won't work.
Another thing with the 4 post , I have a small tire machine that I use a couple times a year . I drilled two holes in the lift and bolt the machine to it , only takes a few minutes and I can put the machine in storage when not needing it , not taking up floor space , I also have a motorcycle front wheel holder that I bolt on and then can use the lift to service the bike .I use a above ground pool ladder to get into the middle of the lift . not having to bend over with a bad back is great when working on things , another use is loading things into a pick up , put them on the lift rase back up truck and slide load onto truck

I guess that you should be thankful that he did sell it...anybody that would not keep their word on the sale would more than likely lie about the condition of the lift. You may have dodged a bullet.
