Square dash board anchor missing... Need help... Part number?
The square anchor fell back through the hole and I can't retrieve it. Does anyone know how to anchor the dash to this square hole? Is there a part number?
In the depressed area on the left of the square hole you might be able to drill another hole big enough to use one of the J bolts like what's used on the fenders.
I used these. They take a little trimming with a dremel or file to push in. Seems ok right now. Time will tell. The license plate bolts are much smaller.
Thanks for the comments
I would buy a square nut , start a bolt in it and hold it in place an tack weld it in place an be done with it
Doesn't have to be square as that nut would most likely not fit in the hole.
I would use a normal nut, drill the hole so the nut would fit flush inside and using a long bolt or threaded rod to hole the nut weld it in place.
