Oil Pan ?

I recently bought a 96 F-150 4x4 with a 351 Windsor and automatic trans. Old oil pan looks like it took a rock right in the drain plug area. I have a new oil pan and wondering if it can be replaced without removing the engine. Thanks

It can be done. You'll have to unbolt the motor mounts and pick up the engine to get it out, but you don't have to fully remove the engine.

You will have to drop the pan and lift the engine so you can get enough clearance to remove the oil pick up tube, then it will all come out.

You will also have to drop the exhaust. The Y-Pipe will be in the way.
