Wipers not working

I replaced my worn out turn signal assembly. When I first tried the new assembly, my wipers went on about half way, and then quit/stopped. Now they are dead. When I turn them to full on, I can hear a click in the passenger side area behind the dash. All of the fuses are good. My washer is also not pumping, but I can hear a click when pushing in on the wiper stalk.

You need to tell us what truck you are working on. I am thinking it's an OBS 92-96 truck?

First check to make sure you put the pins back in the spots they belong to in the plug. You did remove the wires from the plug to get them thru the steering column collar, right?

1997 f250. Yes. I removed the collar from the steering column surround trim and unplugged the original assembly. I re-seated the new pin connectors on the new stalk/wiper/turn signal piece.

Yes. I reseated the pins a few times to be sure. Today I turned the wipers to “full on”, (like the fast mode) and they did work. Not the delay settings though.
