Looking for some new front pads... reading reviews and searching and I’m still up in the air.. looking for a pad that doesn’t cover the rims with dust. What are you guys using??
Same here. I used the high end Powerstopp pads and rotors and they work great so far up here in MN. One thing though when I was installing them, one of my brakes had a sticking caliper pin. Had been 2 years since last lubricated. Glad I caught it.
I'm pleased with their performance as well. Plus you can't beat the price of that front/rear complete kit on Rockauto. Last summer, I was getting slight pulses when I applied the brakes. Mileage was 42,720 miles. I live in a hilly area. Yeah, I keep notes. The Front inside rotor surfaces were pitted. Salt does great things to vehicles. Rears were okay but had slight pitting as well. Since I had the whole kit, my buddy put on the rears. Now I'm at about 54,600 miles. Time will tell as how long they will last. If I get the same mileage as the OEM stuff, I'd be happy. Just FYI.
@Overkill2 I just checked the link from your earlier post. That is a good price. I'll have to look at RockAuto for the rears; only replaced the fronts last time.

10-4. I thought it was a fantastic price. I couldn't touch the front set for what it cost with shipping for a set here locally. I'm curious to see how how that Geomet coating holds up here through the salt seasons.
