I haven’t done the rears yet. I want to get backup lights but was wondering if it’s worth it to get the rear blinkers. Are they gonna be that much different than the halogen blinkers?
how did u use for scan to fix flicker disable drl? My hi beams or uppers I guess are fine it’s the bottoms I had a take back out! Wich runs the drl on them up here in Canada
The site has a good video on the super duty upgrade.
They are pricy but - No flicker - beam pattern perfect and no one is flashing me. They come with a lifetime warranty.
The PWM modules included in the kit deal with the DRL and flickering issues. The DRL's work at a reduced level during the day - just like the halogens.

I've done it all ways. Believe me, grille removal is time consuming compared to not. And if I remember correctly it really doesn't gain you much unless you also remove the headlight housings.
If it's a 6.2 just remove the washer tank filler neck if you need to on the driver side and the air breather snorkel pops right out on the passenger side. Never done a 6.7. From what I understand you may have to remove the second battery. Still better than all those fasteners for the plastic on top of the radiator and snaking down in to pop those bottom fasteners at the bottom of the grille.
After having gone through it a few times I only removed the breather snorkel last time and had all 4 light bulbs in about 10 minutes later.
I have a '19 Gas, and a set of the fanless Beamtechs sitting on my workbench waiting for some warmer weather.
Just looking under the hood on mine it sure looks like the battery has to come out on the passenger side to get down into that passenger side headlight area or am I missing something?
I see what you are saying about the filler neck on drivers side for sure but so far it seems no one talks about removing the battery (or is it just unsaid and assumed you have to)?
Thanks
jimmy

The only thing I used forscan in was to disable the hyper flash for the switchback turn signals. Didn’t do anything for DRLs

Once you pop that air breather snorkel out you should have ample room. I haven't heard of anyone here removing the battery on a gasser to do these headlights. I know I never did.
Installed the beamtechs in my truck yesterday evening. Had to remove the grille and housings for the four headlight bulbs. The fog light bulbs were pretty simple. All in all, it took me a good 45 minutes. Had to adjust each of the new bulbs to keep the "alignment" the way they were supposed to be. I think I need to adjust the headlight housings now. I'm sure the directions must be in the owners manual how to adjust headlights? Or does anyone have the info on this?
Just installed the Beamtechs on my 18, dear god why doesn't Ford send the truck with these in the first place?
I have not installed my Beamtechs yet, but I agree 100% on the stock headlamps, they suck so bad. Its borderline irresponsible how bad the "standard" headlights on these trucks suck.
I literally drive around with my high beams on, (forgetting they are on, not being a dick on purpose) and no one ever flashes me.
I replaced the reverse lights with the JDM LED lamps, that was a nice improvement, but cant wait to get the Beamtechs in.
I cannot believe they make the upgrade path to LEDs so extreme.
If Ford is not going to step into the 21st century on headlights quality, the upgrade path to LEDs should be a simple a'la carte single line upgrade and relatively inexpensive.
