Got a problem with a 10.25 posi
I had a sterling 10.25 put in my 77 F250 15 years ago by a respected driveline shop and it has been clunking for years. I finally decided to rebuild it my self this year. I ordered the parts and add a Yukon dura grip while I had it down. I just pulled it apart and found out the darn thing is a posi. The clutches don’t look to bad but I was never told by the rear end shop that it was a posi so I never put the friction modifier in. My query is do I try to return the Yukon Dura Grip and just put new clutches in my existing differential? I need some advice about the ford posi as to how effective it is compared to the Yukon.
