What's the deal with the paint choices? Mainly shades of gray and black, two blues, silver and red?
What happened to the brown tones? Brown pigment too expensive? I have caribou now on my F150 and like it but would like something even browner or more like the KR color
i agree! No green as well, very staid selection. Also limited on combinations of two tones and interior color choices. For instance can get rapid red in two tone, but no tan interior?! Ridiculous!
I understand them limiting colors to the popular ones but I do not understand them limiting combinations of available options. Especially interior/exterior combinations or 2 tone color combos.

I like the tan and brown colors myself...the golden bronze with adobe trim looked great on the '11 F150 I had and it was also offered on the super duty's. Lucky I got the White Gold that was only around for 2 yrs. Arizona Beige was a nice color too.
I have owned a Golden Bronze and loved it, then upgraded to a Bronze Fire and loved it, now have Stone Gray and really like it as well.
I don't see it as a gray, much closer to Caribou, but lighter.

to me it looks greyish in the shade and brown in the sunlight, great color... changes with the light.
Would be nice if Green Gem was in the lineup for ALL trucks. Currently it is only available for trucks that have a valid fleet number. I tried to order it on my F450 chassis cab since Ford already considers them commercial vehicles, but still need a fleet number. So Magnetic was my choice.
I noticed even Ram cut down on available color options too for their 2019s. Used to be able to pay $100-400 extra for the "low volume" colors. Now most are gone.
It used to be the customer drove production, we had so many individual options to choose from. Now, production drives the customer to choose from limited packages that are built faster, cheaper (for manufacturer) and more efficiently to save money. It's all about spitting out as many as they can, as quickly as they can just to see the profits pile up.
