Box Stock 06 E350 6.0, when I sold it 2 years ago to my friend 2 years ago it had over 750K, now it is over800K. It was in dealer for a warranty on an oil leak in 2007, and that was it for the engine. 2 flex plates and one used transmission.

Can you tell us something about the use of the van? Presumably a lot of highway miles?
EGR cooler not deleted ?

Even a stock 6.0 can be a very reliable engine if not hot tuned and driven like a race car! Proper maintenance as well of course.

06 F250 Commonized Heads. 145k miles, stock head gasket/bolts, oil cooler. BPD EGR Cooler, upgraded STC fitting. Stock 06 tuning. FICM rebuilt (down to 45.5-volts). ELC Coolant. Flushed system when purchased but it was super clean, got nothing out.

I bought at 100k and I assume the injectors haven't been changed yet. I haven't pulled the valve covers. Hot starts beautifully. Cold starts can get stiction if no Archoil present.

Tow about 8k Toy Hauler, about 2-3k miles per year. The rest is daily driver or hauling stuff in the bed.

If it ain't broke don't fix it?

Right now just chasing squeaks and rattles in the interior.

I'm at 230k with original stock bolts and head gaskets. I just din a EGR delete and oil cooler reseal and backflush. I'm also done the blue spring kit, IPR valve, one injector, and I have a coolant filtration kit on the way. No tuning yet in it's life.

05 CCSB 158k miles. Owned it since ‘08 manual transmission. Just the basics on the motor, ICP, IPR, stand pipes, high idle upgrade, 6.7L starter, blue spring, coolant filter, 4” MBRP exhaust, cat delete-ish, K&N air stuff, (as the readers cringe….I apologize in advanced), CTS2 tuner run in towing or economy tunes only, Southbend stage 1 clutch kit, southern box from TX and paint to match, (damn salt). Will tackle the EGR, CCV, STC fitting and oil cooler while in there soon, also up pipe as found small crack while changing clutch. Also found a guy local to me that can still do the Atlas 40 tune. Thats on the list too.

Just turned 313,000 miles on my stock 6.0 this weekend, still runs like a beast: Atlas 40 FICM and 50HP tow tune from 5 star without head studs. Will be doing injectors this summer I assume?

New oil cooler at about 225,000 and put in a Bulletproof Diesel EGR at the same time (didn’t need to, but did anyways).

Stock tune and original FICM with stock tune.

Injectors replaced around 250,000.

Only had one bad injector at that time but I replaced them all.

Water pump replaced at around 260,000.

I change the oil every 7,500 miles

Not too fussy about the maintenance but it just keeps chugging along!
