Hey,
does anyone know if it is possible to do they standpipes and dummy pulgs on a 2010 Ford E-350 6.0 powerstroke with the engine still in the chassis, once I removed the dog house, there isn't much room between the valve cover and cab. thanks for any insight,
The driver side valve cover can be removed relatively easily. To remove the passenger side valve cover requires either removal of the driver side engine mount, and the engine dropped slightly, or removal of the first three rows of cab-to-frame bolts, and the body raised off the frame about an inch to gain the needed clearance for removal. But once removed, the dummy rail plugs and standpipes can be replaced without too much difficulty.
