I mean that's on a whole other level right there... But I would like to light em up every now and then... Weather it's right or not,l I like to have fun
What year is the truck? I was under the impression these trucks had some kind of torque management in the first couple gears, keeping things a bit more tame. The reviews I've seen of the 20s are always mentioning tire spin through multiple gears. Maybe the pre 20s are more controlled. I would think that is something tuning could fix.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the stock programming have a torque management system? Meaning if you put your foot threw the grill, you actually only get half throttle power until 35/40 mph to protect the drive train. You can get a tune from 5 Star that will eliminate this, this giving you full power from the get go.( not to mention more horsepower and torque!)

Its an 2018 it's very frustrating driving it like it's got governor's at every turn
Yes its gas...and its stock..And I luv the look on the drivers faces when that Bad Boy Bellows off the line...
I often see the SD Diesels that have been "tuned" lifted..And yes they do blow smoke but are fast
Yea I have to admit I do like the performance of the gas trucks way better than the 6.7's BTW I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one out there driving I it like stole it...
What you have to understand is, these trucks were not made to "rip" the track. The were built to pull and carry heavy loads. I'm guessing you don't have a big trailer, or haul big loads. That's where this truck shines. It's called the right tool for the job. If you want to rip the tracks, get a Mustang GT. That'll light your fire.
I drive like I'm on the run from the social correct parade. Don't want them running to their safety blanky. I luv FTE forums, gives me a good laugh most of the time.
These trucks have torque management, the 6.2 gas breaks the tires loose pretty easy in rain so if you got full diesel torque right away it would be fish tail central. Ford dumbs it down to protect the drivetrain and driver.

Not always..I use My SD to "inform" the Honda Driver that Just Pulled in front of me ...then decided to review his/her Iphone Text @ 20 MPH below the posted speed limit
that such behavior is not acceptable..
Then I use it to haul his/her behind out of the snow bank after the Highway Patrol Asks if i can help a stranded driver...

This is by far your best solution

This is true. The only time when this gets testy is when you have to pull out into traffic and give it some go or get run over. The other option is to have patience and wait for a wider opening I guess.
