Lowering rear for level

Currently have BDS 2 inch level in front, thinking of removing and putting smaller blocks in rear. I have air lift bags , anyone have any comments on level by reducing on the rear and towing?

if you take all the rake out you will have a cali lean and headlights in the clouds if you haul anything. youll have to put airbags or something on there

You will need to remove your air bags to do a drop in the rear. Airlift might make a kit for lowered applications, although I doubt it for SDs.

Spoke to PMF Suspension, they have a 1.5 inch block(factory Block is 3.25 inches) with 2.5degree caster that will work with Air Rite airbag, here is pic of what I have now. The main reason for this reverse level, I think it will help with crosswind stability somewhat

I have the 1.5" blocks from PMF on my '19 F350 and Air Ride 5,000 bags. I didn't get the blocks with the airbag tangs and wish I would have. The bumpstop tangs on the PMF blocks are not as big as the factory blocks. They still work I just wish I had went with the airbag tangs to have a larger perch for the bags to sit on.

I think I am going to do the following, I have a 1.5" rake due to the snow plow springs. These drop shackles will give 3/4" or 1.5" drop, gonna go with the 3/4" to still have a little. I do not tow, so not worried about the squat. When I haul heavy loads, it is during the day so not worried about lights either..

As strange as it may sound I think it rides mush smoother now and I don't notice as much bumpsteer. I didn't change anything else but the blocks and kept tire pressures and airbag pressures the same. It still has an almost imperceptible rake that you really have to look hard at to see or use a tape measure. It looks completely level now. I have much better clearance between the bedrails and fifth wheel and the tailgate step is much easier to use.

I put the PMF 1.5” blocks on my ‘18 F350 so I could get it in my garage. Have a sloped driveway and it wouldn’t fit. Very easy to install
