one piece drive shaft
I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with a one piece drive shaft. I have been getting a lot of shudder when I launch out of the hole, and it goes away at 20 mph or so I have been told that this could be the carrier bearing and a one piece would do away with that I just need to know the pro's and con's of a move like this.

I just called the fomoco dealeship and talked to the shop foreman he said that I might encounter some vibration problems with the one piece driveshaft I just put 1000 bucks into traction bars to see if it was axle wrap it still shudders also the shop foreman said that going over a curb or eneven ground could cause problems I don't know how accurate he is on these issues I can get a custom driveshaft in Livonia,MI right by my house for 290 bucks and the guy said it would be made from heavier guage steel any additional info on this would be greatly appreciated.

I don't have a one piece yet......but I will when I increase the lift.
But, everyone I have ever talked to who has one and three different 4x4 shops have told me that they have completely eliminated driveline vibrations going with an aftermarket shaft.

I am going to go with the one piece I talked to a guy at the driveshaft superstore on the internet he is going to make me a real strong shaft 120 on the tube 3 and a half" and 1410 thanks.
