lots of Raptors, Norther Michigan

Today heading north on I75 to the Raco test track, there was a caravan of approx 20 of what i beleive were test raptors, every color, sum with lightbars, sum with big rubber, very close to finished products. i was driving so i couldnt get picts at 75 mph. there are lots of manufactures that use this test track so its not uncommon to see preproduction vehicles around this area, One bad *** looking truck, ready for BAHA from my view, low and wide.

Perhaps they were modded from Roush in Livonia, Michigan?

Odd you mention that. Yesterday afternoon I saw a Shelby 150 parked in downtown Alpena, and a Raptor on the other side of town that was obviously heavily modified. Neither one common around here. Where is this test track?
Never mind, I googled it. Pretty embarrassing for me. For 6 straight years I went from Mio to the Canadian Soo everyday, all year, including backhauls from Brimley/Newberry areas. Never knew that was there, guess I need to get out from under my logs/rocks more often.

They very well could be rousch, heavily modified, or lots of accessories bolted on the trucks, hard to tell at 75 mph, red wheels on some , lights bars , big antennas, and it was followed by a good sized enclosed trailer pulled by a chevy duramax, . At first i was thinking maybe a raptor club, but i wouldnt think there are any trails open this time of year. Raco is a cold weather test facility, i also beleive they use it in the summer, always camoed vehicles headed that way during summer.

I doubt that it was Ford or Roush doing some testing since the vehicle towing the enclosed trailer was a Chevy Duramax.

. . . OR . . . they used a Duramax to throw all of us off the scent.

. . . OR . . . the Duramax was the real test and THEY used all of the Fords to throw us off the scent.

. . . OR . . . there was no test and all of the vehicles together was just a really big coincidence.

. . . OR . . . ?

They were for sure together in a tight group, a couple stragglers behind the duramax, hell they could have been ranger raptors, I can identify a lot of vehicles by headlights and taillights, these were different, they seem to sit lower, tires seem to stick out from fenders more than normal. I dont know what changes are coming for the raptors, so ill keep watching, somone somewhere got some pictures of these trucks.
