Welding is not required. You can tap and plug both holes. Plugging the EBPV solenoid back in on DIY delete means no codes.
unfortunately when I went to unplug the ebpv connector it kind of fell apart, not sure why but now there is just two metal prongs sticking out where the plug was. Unless that's the way it's supposed to be but I don't remember my other one being like that. Okay I will try to crank down on the wastegate rod and see how that works, thanks
