I got this mirror in a box of stuff at an auction. At first I thought it was used. But upon closer inspection I don't think it was ever on a vehicle. It was dusty and has some shelf wear. It didn't come in a box so I don't have a part number. But here is what I think is an engineering number found on the back of the part: UTA 56303 The underneath that is this number: PPE CAV.1 RE.
Thanks. Hopefully those numbers will help you. Her are pics.
Looks to be off something in the mid to late 90's . Try Googling different year cars and compare. When you find something that looks similar then search for the part and maybe corresponding numbers will come up..
For example here is a 2004 Ford Focus.. https://ca.autoshack.com/Auto/Exteri...SABEgIEvfD_BwE
For context, Abe reached out to me today specifically on identifying this part and applications for resale. I came across this ancient post of his and followed up here with specific model year ranges for the benefit not just Abe, but everyone.
My wife says I have to get rid of my Ford parts. I'm doing pretty good. Four weeks ago I sold 24 various hubcaps some guy bought for his son's bedroom who likes old stuff.
Three weeks ago I sold my last of four 73-78 fenders. So the only big item I have left is a 48-52 door. The rest are small NOS and used parts that fit in plastic bins.
