Sherlock Holmes: Mirror Indentification Help

With your help, I am trying to identify who the manufacturer is of the mirrors in the attached pics. They are for sale at a local pick and pull and I am not sure if they are OEM, 1AA, or another manufacturer.

Included in the photos is the only number on them (A001448152>PE

I have seen OEM mirrors with "smoke" lens, however; the lens may be aftermarket.

Perhaps one of the "parts" guys could chime in.

I picked them up for $200. Going to give them a try this weekend. They were very nice and said that if they don't work out, feel free to bring them back. We will see.

Great price for OEM, and (with the possible exception of the marker/parking light) all functions should work without running a separate wire.

You might need a different connector.

Not sure about the easy connection part. Only 3 wires coming out of the mirror plug. Not sure how that works.

Installed the mirrors this morning. Really like the fit and finish of the mirrors and can see much better out of them than the original tow mirrors.

Unfortunately I am going to be removing them and taking them back unless someone on here would like them for what I have in them.

I have a couple issues in that the new mirrors do not have defrost and they do have the signals, but apparently my truck is not wired for them. Admittedly wiring is a foreign language to me and I have no confidence that I can make them work on my own so I will be shelling out the cash for some new aftermarket ones.

If anyone is interested, shoot me a pm and I can snap a few good photos and send them over. Otherwise I will put the old ones back on and take the new ones back to the pick and pull.

Ya I'd say them mirrors don't have heat, or markers/turn signals. With only 3 wires coming out of the mirror, that means it's just power adjust...

Just ordered a new set of mirrors from 1A. Seems as though they may have a new price point from the mirrors that I was looking at from them before.

According to Tony they are made by the same manufacturer and have the same specifications/quality as their $365 mirrors. Power Operation, Smoke Signal and Clearance light, Defrost, Textured Cap and Chrome Cap, manual extension. Part number 1AMRP01716.

Great price shipped to my door at $219.

If in the market, you may want to give them a look. Thanks Tony.

Manual adjust, wires are for the lights. That's just my guess as it wouldn't make sense for them to have lights installed but not wired

I thought the same thing, but I installed them and the power adjust was the only thing to work. No defrost and no lights. The lights must just be for decoration!
