My '53 Doing Farm Work

,My friend decided to video us doing some work with my truck and I thought some of yall may be interested in seeing it since there isnt a whole lot of footage of these trucks doing actual work (and our stupidity may be entertaining)

Love the I-beam bumper. Looked like you were committed to tearing it off! 🤣

This video reminds me of what "grandpas farm" must've looked like in 1978 when his 12-14 year old grandkids were too young to be doing serious revenue work, but too old to just be left to their own devices.

So while Grandpa and dad were out running the farm, they'd give the "kids" a few ridiculous chores to keep 'em busy and.....ehhhhh..."out of trouble"..

But every so often they needed motive power, so Grandpa would tell 'em to hotwire the old Ford and move a few implements around before lunch.....and one thing leads to another....so the truck gets bogged all around the farm doing "serious work" lol

After these old trucks were retired, this is how they were used for the last few years before being abandoned in a field or scrapped. They weren't worth anything, and the kids didn't care, might as well been a go-cart. I like seeing this stuff. Enjoy these trucks; Don't go easy on 'em either, nobody else did.
