I just put a PMF with dual Bilstiens on my stock F-350 Dually, 2 1/2 Readylift will be installed later. Easy install, though I'm still trying to get the stock stabilizer off!!

Yea, I hear you, my 2nd one was only on a couple months and came off hard. Penetrating oil and a Tie Rod End Fork worked. Thought I was going to have to put the heat to it. I've read here that some leave the stock one on. I wanted the PMF only so I could really judge it performance.

My truck is also only a couple of months old and only has 3,000 miles, I can't believe how difficult this thing is! Going to try again today!
Hi guys! I'm a total newb here I think this is my first post. I have a 2001 F450 that I'm swapping over to a 2006 axle (coil springs, super 60 Front S110 rear) and need the dual stabilizers to handle the MPT81 super single meats I'm putting on. No lift, 2 inch level. PMF lists my application but I don't want Fox's. Anybody care to share which Bilstein shocks (model #) they used for their dual stabilizer setup? I'll be going Bilstein around the truck.
I have a new 2019 F250 Crew cab and looking for a dual stabilizer kit that will work on stock height truck.
Those I have seen stat they only work wit 2 or more inches of lift.
If anyone has installed one on a stock height truck and it is working fine, please replay back with the brand and part number.
Thanks
Excuse my ignorance, but, why would you want to install these on a brand new stock truck??
I just installed the PMF kit with Fox stabilizers a couple days ago. Very easy install. It mounts below the axle for stock height up to 3 1/2" of lift. Any more than that and you have the option of mounting it on top of the axle. I had the BDS/Fox dual on my previous 2005 Super Duty. The PMF is definitely more stout.
My two cents. Unless you really want the dual stabilizers for looks or you're running a big lift with huge tires, I'd try a single replacement stabilizer first. I have a '19 F250 with only 12K miles. I also have 2-1/2" Carli leveling coils and run 37 X13.50's. I just swapped out the stock stabilizer for the single Fox 2.0 and it made a huge difference in firming up the looseness. Got it from Amazon for $156.
V10DoulbeTow, did the Fox 2.0 fit into the stock location? If so, what part number was it and did you have to do any modification? I'm totally stock and just want to add some stability to the front end. My 2018 has 63K on it and guess I been fortunate so far only seeing a mild shimmy at highway speed over bridge expansion cracks or rough road.

Yes, it's a straight replacement with no modifications required. The Fox part number is 985-24-001.

Thanks, I was thinking I would have to go with a dual setup to see any difference over stock. You saw a noticeable difference from stock? Since I’m already seeing a little shimmy it could be questionable whether I’ll get the added stability I’m looking for?
