I have a 2017 f250 6.7 that was deleted before I got it. the person before me took out the ez link and left his program in it. I found the person he told me he had it tuned with PPEI i bought the tuner and put it on. The TCM was damaged so I got a new one and had ford flash it, they had a hard time but they said they got it done. But every time I start it its in limp mode for a mile or two depending on, and some times the turbo vane will act funny and sometimes it works. Also the pickup will go out of limp mode faster if i just uploaded the tune. if i return my computer to stock tune it shows on the dash (Engine Coolant Over Temperature) plus all the codes for the DEF system. It did overheated on me when I first got the truck. I have had a few ford dealers look at it plus a custom truck shop they cannot figure it out. And ford charges a lot every time and figures out nothing.
Returning the truck back to stock on a deleted truck will set all kinds of codes. Unless you know what tune the last guy put in the truck the only option is to put the stock stuff back on the truck. I am not sure why guys delete these trucks and doesn't leave the tuner with the truck.

i would take it back to where I bought it, tell them to fix it or refund my money.
Also......why buy a truck that has been altered (deleted) without the tuner?
There are some shops that would (past tense, can’t find them anymore) delete tune from a laptop. It was a lower cost option, not one I chose personally, but if a guy wanted a tune and wasn’t going to use the tuner to monitor, it was a good option that saved a lot of cash.
I assume, OP, you had no idea how aggressive of a tune you had and started down this path to figure it out, or were you having issues?
Since PPEI is no longer supporting deleted truck tunes I would recommend buying a new tuning pack from GDP and start over. That way you will have support and tunes that won’t take out your transmission. Research past posts from those with PPEI on the Ford platform. Lots of problems!!JMHO
