2017 6.7 derating problem
I have a 2017 f250 6.7 that was deleted before I got it. the person before me took out the ez link and left his program in it. I found the person he told me he had it tuned with PPEI i bought the tuner and put it on. The TCM was damaged so I got a new one and had ford flash it, they had a hard time but they said they got it done. But every time I start it its in limp mode for a mile or two depending on, and some times the turbo vane will act funny and sometimes it works. Also the pickup will go out of limp mode faster if i just uploaded the tune. if i return my computer to stock tune it shows on the dash (Engine Coolant Over Temperature) plus all the codes for the DEF system. It did overheated on me when I first got the truck. I have had a few ford dealers look at it plus a custom truck shop they cannot figure it out. And ford charges a lot every time and figures out nothing.

if you bought it at a dealer then take it back and have them fix it right meaning replacing emissions systems and fix the PCM TCM. If you bought it second hand. Then you have a problem with your tunes and the previous owner.
