Hoses

What is the 1/2in rubber hose behind the left side shock absorber hanging and some oil is coating the fuel tank, it's attached to a piece of frame on the left side where does it go? This is on a extended cab 2 wheel drive f150 v6 4r70w with a full size spare tire so what could this be?

Could be the differential vent tube. It normally goes from the top of the diff and is held into a cross-rail directly above from the box by a clip fitting. A picture would be more helpful.

Assuming you are referring to the rear?

Just looks like it pulled off the fitting. If the hose isn't split, just slide it back on and consider a small hose clamp.

If it is split or stretched, you can probably just cut the first inch off and still slide it back on.

If you want to replace it entirely, just ask for fuel line at your FLAPS

jon... look at the top of the TEE where your steel brake lines connect to the rubber brake hose... Should be a vent barb built into that assembly.
