What is the 1/2in rubber hose behind the left side shock absorber hanging and some oil is coating the fuel tank, it's attached to a piece of frame on the left side where does it go? This is on a extended cab 2 wheel drive f150 v6 4r70w with a full size spare tire so what could this be?
Could be the differential vent tube. It normally goes from the top of the diff and is held into a cross-rail directly above from the box by a clip fitting. A picture would be more helpful.
