I’m not sure if this question is directed to me but will answer anyways. I did the exhaust using all MBRP and chose the stainless steel option for rust prevention! Very easy to change it out. Also used Shibby Engineering plug kit to seal all plug connections! K&D makes a exhaust hanger removal too that works great also!
cjssr, I am also running the GDP tunes with EZ Lynk, I like it, but have noticed the transmission shifts seem to be a bit hard sometimes.
I was running the TCM Tune that loaded with the 0-150 SOTF Tune but had the same issues with it being really great for a few weeks and out of the blue doing hard 1-2 light pedal shifts. Tried doing a KAM reset and then relearn but still did the same thing a few weeks later. A guy recommended going back to the OEM tune(said I could thank him later ) so I did that and pulled 24K truck and trailer cross country with no issues when shifting and none since but I run on 1 on the SOTF most of the time. Getting great gas mileage empty and good gas mileage towing. 2ND trip ran 2200 miles back to Texas across Wyoming doing 80mph and still got 20mpg. Coming back west pulling car on car trailer that trip I got 13-14 loaded so really happy with that tune. Very clean running also. Not a big fan of smokey tunes!
