I hope someone will know what I'm getting at without posting a photo.
There's a small, press-able black button a few inches above the key ignition protruding from the face of the dash in my '65 custom cab. I've pressed it with the ignition off, and nothing happens. With the ignition switch on or while the truck is running, pressing it generates a buzzing sound somewhere under the hood that I've yet to trace. Any ideas?
The buzzing sound might be a good sign - that's probably the pump running. Don't run it too long without fluid as the fluid helps keep the motor cool(er) and running without for too long could overheat the pump motor.
