What causes this to happen? I just had this experience and now it won't start. It did it the last time I drove the truck but it didn't die, it surged a couple times and then smoothed out. This time it started, turned over a few times, surged, died and won't start.
it may be old and slow but it can pull your house down. but yes normally if its not starting or having real issues running its air getting into the system.
