Backup camera not working

This black screen for my backup camera has been coming up off and on for the past few months and now suddenly it is just staying on black screen. Anybody have this problem? It was working fine before

Have you checked the tailgate to body connector back by the spare tire/rear bumper?....check it for corrosion....

btw.....what year and model truck?

yep, check tailgate camera connections and wiring harness for cuts, rubbing wear, etc.....
