Tailgate camera pin out

I have a 2019 F250 I just got this spring with just the standard backup camera. I'm taking off Saturday morning on a week trip with the camper and was hoping to get my backup camera on the camper working. I have a rear view safety camera on my camper or atleast I though and bought their adapter cable to just hook it into were the tailgate camera plugs in. Either the wiring has changed or I don't remember what company camera I bought but anyway its not plugging right into my camera. I do have an adapter currently on my camera that converts there end into video and power. I could make a connector to put in between but I need the pin out for the 6 pin square camera plug were the tailgate camera plugs into the pickup. I can't seem to find the one for the 2017 to 2019 superduty. If anyone has this and can share I would appreciate it. Thank you.

You may know this and be talking about the OEM trailer camera but I found your post hard to follow.... in case I read right:

the ford camera system is digital. The odds of a trailer camera working that wasn’t specifically made to work with the new fords is about one in a million. A wiring diagram won’t make the camera work.

and if it was designed for a ford, you’d probably be plugging into the harness under the spare tire, not the tailgate.

I think he's saying that he removes his tailgate for a slide-in camper, and has an aftermarket camera on the slide-in camper that he used to plug into the existing plug for the the tailgate camera that he disconnects when the takes the tailgate off. He wants to try to do the same with his new SuperDuty.

That said, I agree with you, since it's not the Ford camera, it probably won't work. His best bet would be to either replace the aftermarket one with the Ford OEM trailer one, and plug into the trailer camera connector under the spare, OR go with a fully aftermarket one, and have a second screen in the truck for that camera.

Sorry It was late when I wrote it but yes the harness I got from Rear view safety plugs right into the factory tailgate spot by the spare tire. It sounds like the company that makes the camera and the harness I got has a piece that will work but I was hoping to get it working before I left. As far as needing a factory camera there are several companies out there making kits that plug into the OEM tailgate spot by the spare tire and from what I can read there is nothing special about the Ford camera unless you get into the 360 view system. I was just hoping to find outH on the plug by the spare tire which is a 6pin if anyone has the diagram of whats the positive and negative power and whats the positive and negative video.
