1/2" hammerlocks from AMZ. The picture will show red ones, and they show up yellow. The black stuff is the biggest shrink tube in the Garbage Freight kit. Chains and brake cable carabiner fit great in these.
So, we hit the road this morning. Towed from Vegas to Dumont Dunes, CA. After hooking up, and getting to flat ground, the air bags weren't a neccessity. But, I'm still glad to have done it.
Compared to my tuned, bulletproofed 6.0l, this truck is an absolute beast!! It cruises at 68mph/1600 RPM, without a care in the world. Hit the few elevation changes from here to there, and I swear it would have pulled the grades at 100mph. All the creature comforts put my EB X to shame.
