Speedometer?
1960 f600. My speedometer needle is "bouncy'. Not the usual jump when shifting the 2 speed axle. Just a consistent bounce that had gotten worse. It make a little noise on cold mornings ad well. Does not want go faster than 35(ish) mph, even though truck is accelerating. I am thinking cable? Your thoughts?

Could be the cable. There is some kind of shifting block in the cable to change the speed for the two speed change. My dad's '58 (F600, 292/T98) was always sluggish and required a tap on the front of the speedo to shift sometimes. Finally it quit working. Since yours still works, a little poking around and cable lube might give you decades more service.
