I have a 92 f150 4wd and was wanting to relocate the oil filter for ease of access when doing oil changes.
If anybody has done it what kit did you use and were you able to locate it in a more accessible area?
Thanks.
Mine not typical, for sure. Had to remote mount it for room to run the turbo piping. It was way easier to get at compared to on the block reaching though the cross member.
I've used remote kits also, mine was a Transdapt from nearly 30 yrs ago. Use QUALITY hoses!!! You don't want to leave yourself stranded due to a blown hose because it was a cheap hose/fittings.
