Tow Mirror Retrofit Help Needed On 03 Crew
I purchased some Trail Ridge Expedition tow mirrors to go on my 2003 F150 EB Crew. These are supposed to fit an 03 - 10 Expedition and bolted up perfect. The only problem is the wiring connector is rectangular with many more wires than my original 6 or 7 wire plug. I realize that many of the functions may not be able to work like the puddle light, etc.. My truck is the Eddie Bauer edition that previously had the power functions including the turn signals. I'm really not sure if the old mirrors were heated or not. I have reached out to AM AutoParts (who i purchased the mirrors from) for a wiring diagram, but they said it isn't available. Does anyone have the wiring diagram from the 03-10 Expedition so i can wire it with connectors? I have tried the process of elimination of adding 12v to each color wire to see if i could figure it out, but all i have been able to figure out is the turn signal & puddle lights. I would like the power movement function to actually work if possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Were your old mirrors power adjustable?? Or were you referring to getting the tow mirrors to power extend and retract??

I had a similar problem when I got a 2000 Ford Excursion. My threads on my problem are in the Excursion forum. I started several threads to try to keep it simple and not too cumbersome to read. My mirrors were probably not Trail Ridge mirrors but were most likely eBay China knockoffs.
I am attaching a PDF of my final wiring diagram for my mirrors. I can't guarantee that mine will be the answer for you but hopefully it may.
