Spybot.worm

Anyone else got this stupid worm on their computer? How do you get rid of it? Norton tells 3-4 times a day that I have it, but doesn't know how to remove it. From what I've read, it comes thru Kazaa, which I used for over a year with no problems. As soon as I deleted Kazaa, I started having problems with worms and parasites.

here we go worm picking..try going to a web site on nortons anti virus and see if they can help you on their help line if they have one. or use a free check on what is called house call from the web. house call will scan for trojans and viruses for free and might get rid of them for you. i never had any viruses when i done it and my puter was clean and free of those peskey things when i scaned so i wouldnt know. plus i heard of the viruses you can pick up from kazza. i use kazza lite and never had this problem eather. phat 02 make sure you check for your critical updates from microsoft from your start button and click on it to search for the new updates.i never use nortons but i use AVG ANTI VIRUS for free and i will never trade it in and its easy to get rid of the viruses as i used to get them from time from time. good luck and let us know how you made out

Don't use regular Kazaa

Use Kazaa Lite K++

It has no spyware at all and has ton more searches and very fast speeds.

Agree. Kazaa lite is really great, kazaa how so many pop up ads..etc..

I have a spyware detector called Spy Sweeper and when I do a full scan it tells me that I have a spyware called Cydoor on my computer. It came up on Kazaa and Kazaa lite. Since then I've deleted the spyware and kazaa and -lite disappeared. Now I have k-lite ++and am leary of checking a full scan 'cause I don't want to know if it is still there.

cy door with kazaa lite is a fake bot, if you read on the website, they have to include so that the kazaa servers think you have it...it doesnt actually do the add thing
